Amém App is a Brazilian Christian technology company. We create a simple, welcoming app for Christians — evangelical and Catholic — who want to draw closer to God, build the habit of praying and reading the Bible every day, and find comfort in difficult moments such as anxiety or problems in the family or marriage.

Many people want to pray and read Scripture but struggle to keep the habit, don't know where to start, or feel alone when life gets hard. Amém App puts the Word of God into their daily routine with reminders, ready-to-use content and a companion to talk to at any hour.

This Privacy Policy explains how Amém App, operated by 64.244.501 TCHARLES FERNANDES DE SOUZA (CNPJ 64.244.501/0001-04), with its address at Av. Dom Pedro, 1078, Centro, Sete Quedas – MS, 79935-000, Brazil ("Amém App", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal data. We follow the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados – LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address and profile photo when you sign in, including sign-in with your Google account.
  • Purchase data: name, email, phone number and tax ID (CPF) you provide at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Cakto. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Quiz answers: the answers you give in our entry quiz, used to understand your spiritual moment and personalize your experience.
  • Chat content: the messages you write or speak to the Bible companion and the responses you receive.
  • Preferences: settings such as language and the time you choose for daily reminders, and the data needed to send push notifications to your device.
  • Usage and device data: technical information such as browser type, device, pages visited and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your data

  • To create your account and give you access to the subscription you purchased.
  • To provide the app's features, including the Bible companion, devotionals, reminders and videos.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To improve the app and measure the performance of our advertising.
  • To comply with legal and tax obligations.

We process your data based on the performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests and compliance with legal obligations, as provided by the LGPD.

3. Voice and the AI-powered companion

When you use voice, speech recognition and text-to-speech are handled by your device's browser. The text of your conversation is sent to an artificial intelligence provider to generate a response. The companion's answers are generated automatically by AI. They offer spiritual support and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or legal help. If you are in crisis, please contact a professional or local emergency services.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run Amém App, such as:

  • Payment processing (Cakto);
  • Authentication, database and hosting (Google Firebase and hosting providers);
  • Artificial intelligence providers that generate the companion's responses;
  • Advertising and analytics tools (such as Meta, Google and Microsoft Clarity) used to measure our campaigns and improve our pages.

Some of these providers may store data outside Brazil. In these cases, we rely on the safeguards allowed by the LGPD. We may also disclose data when required by law or by a competent authority.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how our pages are used and measure advertising results. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working properly.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may request confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. These Terms of Use govern your use of Amém App, operated by 64.244.501 TCHARLES FERNANDES DE SOUZA (CNPJ 64.244.501/0001-04), Sete Quedas – MS, Brazil. By using Amém App or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Amém App is a Christian app accessed through your phone's browser. It offers an AI-powered voice and text Bible companion, a daily devotional and verse with reminders, and Bible videos. Features may be improved, changed or added over time.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information and keep your access credentials secure. Your subscription is personal and may not be shared or resold. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Subscription and payment

  • The subscription costs R$ 19.90 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
  • Payments are processed by Cakto. By subscribing, you also agree to the payment provider's terms.
  • We may change the price. Any change will be communicated in advance and will apply only to future billing periods.
  • If a payment fails, access to the app may be suspended until the payment is regularized.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. After cancellation, no new charges will be made and you keep access until the end of the period already paid. To cancel or get help, contact us at vendasonline7q@gmail.com or on WhatsApp. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

5. AI-generated content

The Bible companion's responses are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. While we work to keep all content grounded in Scripture, responses may contain errors. They are intended for spiritual encouragement only and are not professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Amém App does not replace the guidance of your church, pastor or priest, or of health professionals.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Amém App for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to access other users' accounts or our systems without authorization, not to copy or redistribute app content, and not to send offensive or abusive content through the companion.

7. Intellectual property

The Amém App name, logo, design, texts, videos and other content are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by law. Bible verses belong to their respective translations and publishers. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep Amém App available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

10. Privacy

The way we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, including the Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor). Any disputes will be settled in the courts of the consumer's place of residence.

Refund Policy

1. 7-day right of withdrawal

Under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, you may cancel your purchase within 7 (seven) days of the payment date and receive a full refund, without having to give a reason.

2. After 7 days

After the first 7 days, you may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future charges. Amounts already paid for the current billing period are not refunded, and you keep access until the end of that period.

3. How to request a refund

Send a message to vendasonline7q@gmail.com or on WhatsApp (+55 67 99609-8588) with the email used in your purchase. You may also request it directly through the payment platform (Cakto).

4. How the refund is made

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Pix payments are refunded to the paying account. Card refunds may take up to two billing cycles to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.

5. Duplicate or incorrect charges

If you were charged twice or incorrectly, contact us and we will refund the incorrect amount in full.
